Let's fall in love with longevity and help it grow
Beyond the limits of disease and ageing — and beyond the limits the world programs into us. A father & son crossed the world to learn how. Come build it with us.
Everything here is real, and some of it is still being written. If you find a gap or something wrong, tell us — that is rather the point of doing it in the open.
Why I’m doing this
I’m Marek. I spent a year crossing 39 countries and states with my son, Aleksander, meeting more than 100 of the world’s leading scientists, doctors and healers — asking one question: how do we live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives? We came home certain of two things. The science is real and closer than people think. And the years are only worth having if they’re full of the people we love.
The field needs all of us to grow faster, so that we can have it in our own lifetimes. And I don’t believe that happens through science alone — it happens through stories. Real ones, about real people, told well enough that you fall in love with longevity rather than simply learn about it. Everyone deserves that story — not only the wealthy, not only those already looking. The more of us who fall in love with it, the faster it grows — for all of us. That’s why we’ve started Live Beyond, and why we’d love you to be a part of that.
The Longevity Calendar
Most longevity plans are built around performance. This one is built around what you love. Twelve questions about what you enjoy, what you dream of and what you already do — and out comes your own calendar: five rhythms, from every day to once a year, made of things worth getting up for.
Because the years are only worth having if you want to be in them. That is the part most of the field leaves out, and it is the part we care about most.
A dance break to a track you love
A gratitude walk, and six phone-free hours
Dinner with friends — and reconnect with someone
Something extraordinary, for joy. Somewhere new.
A letter to your future self

What "Live Beyond" means
To live beyond the limitations — and to live fully, every single day.
Beyond the limits. Not only the limits of disease and ageing that biology sets — but the limits the modern world and society program into us. Let's explore, build and grow past them, together.
Fully alive, now. Living beyond isn't only about adding years for some distant future. It's about being here — present, joyful, connected — in this moment, today. That's the whole point.
The most thorough approach to longevity
Longevity isn't only the science of longevity. It's the art and science of living longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives — so we went to everyone. That's what makes this the most thorough view of longevity anywhere, and you live it through our journey.
And the most enchanting part? Everywhere we went, these people treated us as family — hosting us in their homes, their labs and their universities. Now we'd love you to discover them, and support them, too.

Blessings from the road
We ended almost every interview with the same question: what would you wish us, me and my son, for the rest of our quest? Eighty of them answered on camera. These are twelve of the answers, in their own words.

David LuuNew York“I wish that at the end of your life, your son is still visiting you. Because I learned that is success.
When your son still wants to hang out with you when you’re close to the end — that’s true success of a human being.”

Srikumar RaoNew York“What I would wish you is that you discover for yourself that the only journey worth taking is the inward journey, and that you discover that the happiness that you and everybody is seeking is really inside you.
This is not something you get or acquire. This is something you release.”

“The main thing I wish for is that you’ll be very successful, and you’ll communicate and get the conversation going. And I hope you have an impact — that you reach a lot of people.”George ChurchHarvard & MIT

Andrea MaierChi Longevity“I would love that you are testing yourself at this moment in time, and you will come back ten years younger, but especially that you are mentally really feeling recharged. That’s most important, and enjoy it.
Without joy, you can have a beautiful body, and you can have beautiful genes, and your epigenomic age is very, very low — but you have to really enjoy the interaction with humans, because there needs to be purpose in life.”

Leslie KennyOxford Longevity Project“A continued, growing, loving bond that you carry with you till the ends of your days.
That memory, that feeling that is evoked when you think back to the things you’ve done — that’s what I wish you both.”

“I think you’re doing a pretty cool thing, spending a whole year travelling around the world, meeting people who have some relevance to the longevity quest. I very much wish you well.”Aubrey de GreyLEV Foundation

Matt KaeberleinSeattle“Human connection — and joy is probably the underappreciated aspect of healthspan. So I think you guys are doing it right.
You’re spending time with your son, travelling the world, meeting new people, seeing new places.”

Liz ParrishBioViva“I wish you a wonderful journey around the world, and I actually hope that you do it millions of times. I hope that you celebrate longevity as you start to actually capture these type of therapies in your life.
I hope that you have great success in this first journey, because this is the first journey of many.”

“My hope is that you’ve already found things that surprise you and that turn your assumptions on their heads — and that you continue to do that.”Robert WaldingerHarvard Study of Adult Development

“The elixir of life is knowledge, and it’s consumed by learning. So I think your mission, what you’re doing now, is at least as important as anything going on in any lab anywhere in the world.”Sir Muir GrayOxford

Steve Horvaththe Clock Foundation“I wish that your longevity quest will add a lot of experiences that are positive, that you remember for decades.
I wish that you get to know exciting people. And that after this one year you are so charged up that you know exactly what you want to do with your life.”

“I would think that there are three elements that are working: curiosity, novelty and flow. And so long as you’re in flow and the novelty is kicking in — how great is that?”Oz GarciaNew York
Our framework
The biggest lesson of the quest: every day you make choices that lengthen or shorten your life. We turned everything we learned into a game with a map — so it's fun, clear, and yours to play.
New to any of this? Start with the twelve hallmarks of ageing, in plain English → — what actually goes wrong in a body, which parts you can do something about, and which you cannot. There is no entry exam.
Five levels, five colours — from the foundations to the frontier of science.
Open the Longevity Game →“How to Win Your Longevity Game” — the whole quest as your field guide.
Inside the book →Narrated by Alek. Built on story and emotion — the invitation to play.
