Who is Kit Mah

Data over dogma

Kit Mah did not start out as the picture of health you see today. He was, in his own words, “a very scrawny, skinny boy” — often fatigued, often tired, not the healthiest kid in school. That struggle became the seed of everything: a hunger to understand the internal workings of his own body, and to change them.

For years he did it while holding down a serious corporate job — audit, compliance and project management at a big multinational, a good salary, the whole track. Then the pandemic hit, and he made the leap most people only think about: he went all in on his passion, full time, and now offers nutritional and functional-health guidance to others.

His method is the reason he belongs in Biohacking Upgrades: data over dogma. Not following blindly what you see on the internet, but using biomarker testing and your own numbers to decide what actually helps — and only what is tolerable and within your means. He is quick to say he can’t spend limitlessly either; the point is intelligent, sustainable optimisation, not extremes.

What comes through most is the why. “Eventually it won’t be just for myself,” he told us; “it would be for the people around me that I love and care for.” The end goal isn’t a personal record — it’s making this reachable for everyone, so more people can feel the way good health feels.

Where we met

We met Kit around the Healthy Longevity Conference in Singapore — the same circuit that runs through Longevity Dublin. He is living proof of his own method: calm, precise, and generous, immediately offering to review our biomarkers and regimes. After a year of meeting scientists, it was good to sit with a practitioner who simply does the work on himself, carefully, and shares what he learns.

“It’s about not just following blindly and seeing things on the internet — using the data, the best as we can, and making sure it’s tolerable and within our means.”

For the people I love

“Eventually it won’t be just for myself. It would be for the people around me that I love and care for.”

Kit Mah · Singapore

I was a very scrawny, skinny boy. I often felt fatigue, tired most of the time. That led me to understand the internal workings.

Kit Mah

When the pandemic hit, I decided to go all out in my passion — to pursue this full time.

Kit Mah

Use the data, the best we can — and make sure it’s tolerable and within our means.

Kit Mah

It’s about how we can make everyone pursue this and have the same effect that we get.

Three things Kit lives by.

Start from the struggle

His whole practice grew out of being an unhealthy kid. That origin keeps him honest — he isn’t selling a shortcut, he’s sharing the long road he actually walked, from fatigue to real health.

“Understanding the internal workings.”

Data over dogma

Biomarker testing first, then decisions — not copying whatever is trending online. And always within what’s tolerable and affordable, because a protocol you can’t sustain isn’t a protocol.

“Using the data, the best we can.”

Make it reachable

The goal isn’t a personal best; it’s helping the people he loves — and eventually everyone — feel the same effect. That’s the same mission that drives the whole Live Beyond project.

“Not just for myself.”

From the conversation

Kit Mah, in his words

Video interview

The video interview is coming. Recorded interviews go live after the launch of the film & series Live Beyond.

Kit Mah was filmed around the Healthy Longevity Conference in Singapore, 2024. Passages from that conversation:

Where it started

Kit Mah“It basically starts with my journey. I was not the healthiest or most normal kid in school — a very scrawny, skinny boy, with some health issues. I often felt fatigue, tired most of the time. That’s what led me to understand the internal workings of the body. Eventually it won’t be just for myself — it would be for the people around me that I love and care for.”

The leap

Kit Mah“I used to hold a corporate job — audit, compliance and project manager in a very big multinational firm, a very good salary and all. Then the pandemic hit, and I decided to go all out in my passion — to pursue this full time. Now I provide nutritional and functional guidance.”

Data, not the internet

Kit Mah“It’s really about not just following blindly and seeing things on the internet. It’s about using the data, the best as we can, and doing it — and making sure it’s tolerable and within our means. I can’t spend limitlessly either.”

Optimising with intention

Kit Mah“I use supplementation, but only after I understand very clearly what the priority areas are and look at the whole picture. Optimising the hormones, keeping things in range — that gives the best response. And I’m happy to review someone’s whole regime and share what I’d do.”
