Who is Pawel Rzepecki

Move, outdoors

Paweł Rzepecki is a movement and mobility coach in Warsaw who takes training out of the gym and into the open air. Marek filmed a session with him in a Warsaw park — ground work, mobility, and the kind of body awareness that keeps you strong and supple as the years add up.

He belongs in Longevity Basics on the Longevity Map, in the branch Marek came to value most on the quest: movement. Not just any movement — the specific, deliberate kind. Strength for lean mass; mobility for a spine and joints that keep working; balance and coordination for the decades ahead. Done outdoors, it doubles as time in nature and daylight, two more Longevity Basics for the price of one.

His practice is a reminder that the most powerful longevity tools are often the plainest: your own body, moved well, most days.

Where we met

Back home in Warsaw, I trained outdoors with Paweł — movement and mobility in the park. Of all Longevity Basics, movement is the one I underrated for years. Strength training, mobility, doing it consistently: it turns out this is a huge part of the game, and Paweł makes it feel natural.

Movement matters — but it’s the specific kind: strength for lean mass, mobility for the joints, balance and coordination for the years ahead.

Pawel Rzepecki

Training outdoors gives you movement, nature and daylight all at once — three Longevity Basics in one.

Straight from the interview

A short note on why movement earns its place at the base of the Map — and why the outdoor, everyday kind may be the most sustainable of all.

The right kind of movement

On the quest Marek learned that “just doing sport” isn’t the whole story. Strength training builds the lean mass that protects you; mobility keeps the spine and joints working; balance and coordination guard against the falls that end independence. Paweł’s work is built around exactly these.

“Strength, mobility, balance — the specifics matter.”

Take it outdoors

Training in a park instead of a gym stacks the benefits: you get the movement, plus daylight and nature — both Longevity Basics in their own right. It’s also more sustainable. A practice that feels good and fits your life is one you’ll actually keep.

“Three Longevity Basics for the price of one.”

Plain, most days

No gadgets, no spectacle — just the body, moved well, most days. That’s the un-glamorous truth at the base of the Longevity Map, and it does more of the work than any upgrade. Paweł makes the plain version feel natural and repeatable.

“The plainest tools do most of the work.”

Video interview

The video interview is coming. Recorded interviews go live after the launch of the film & series Live Beyond.

Paweł Rzepecki was filmed during an outdoor movement session in Warsaw, 2024. There is more from that conversation still to come. Until it is cut, the theme in Marek’s words:

On movement

Marek Piotrowski“Gym, gym, gym. I never really valued it — I did every other sport but the gym, because it wasn’t fun. But strength training is one of the most important things you can do. Muscle is an organ you have to take care of.”

On the specifics

Marek Piotrowski“I thought just doing sport was enough. It’s not — it’s the specific kind: strength first, then mobility and balance. Everything else is a wonderful extra.”

Outdoors

Marek Piotrowski“Training outdoors with Paweł — movement and mobility in the park — makes it feel natural. And you get the daylight and the nature at the same time.”
